Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this course is to explore and discuss recently published research in soil microbial ecology, biogeochemistry and terrestrial ecosystem ecology. Scientific papers can be selected from a literature list, or be suggested by the students. Each participant will present one paper during the course (powerpoint presentation). After the course you should have 1) improved understanding of the state of the art of current research and open questions in terrestrial microbiology and biogeochemistry and 2) trained your ability to present complex scientific topics in an intelligible way.
