Introduction to the Practices in Cell Physiology (300114). The experiments of the topics are explained and discussed:
- Analysis of the cell: light and electron microscopical methods
- Dynamics of the cytoplasm: quantitative analysis
- Structure and function of the cytoskeleton: movement of organelles - inhibitors to actin; mitosis - inhibition to microtubules
- Movement of cells
- Detection and Identification of cytoplasmic structures: immunofluorescence, organelle-specific dyes, micromanipulation
- Permeability of the plasma membrane
- Cell wall of plant cells: synthesis, structure and function
- The plant cell as osmotic system
- Stress tolerance of plant cells
