The excursions are aimed at illustrating the formation history of the archaeological and paleoanthropological record from the excavation to the analysis and archiving the materials. We will visit prominent sediment and soil exposures, see archaeological excavations and visit research facilities in Vienna beyond the university. All trips will be reachable by public transport.
