Aims, contents and method of the course

After a short introduction in the ecological situation of the Tropics, selected ecosystems are treated. Special adaptions of organism are presented and discussed from a synecological point of view. Currently, the lecture focuses on tropical islands (Galapagos, Raja Empat Islands (New Guinea))
