Aims, contents and method of the course
The rapid developments in molecular and cellular biology in the last decades, brought the necessity to introduce these new result in lectures in order to keep them up to date. As a consequence, older data were treated only briefly or left out altogether. This is particularly true for many of the fundamental results in molecular biology. It is the aim of this lecture to fill this gap.
