Aims, contents and method of the course

(1) Consolidation of knowledge on plant families, genera and species
(2) Determination techniques, field excursions
(3) Ecological context: species and their habitats

Potential costs:
excursion flora (recommended, but not mandatory): ca. 40 Euro
tickets for public transport (in case none are already available): ca. 10 Euro

Assessment and permitted materials

intermediate achievement assessments (e.g., plant determination, short protocols) on each course day of in total 4 course days; written exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirement for positive credit: 50.25 points (of totally 100 points). These 100 points are distributed as follows:
60 points from achievement assessments on in total 4 course days (i.e., 15 points per day)
40 points from written exam

Credit key:
0-50: failed (5)
50,25-63: sufficient (4)
63,25-76: satisfactory (3)
76,25-89: good (2)
89,25-100: excellent (1)
