Aims, contents and method of the course

Characterization of MOROCCO with regard to its general Geography, Geology and Soil Science, as well as its biological diversity, Ecology, Flora and Fauna of the mountain ranges, of the steppe and desert areas, with special focus on limnic systems. This lecture covers also the history of cultures, aspects of human ecology as well as the socioeconomiocal and political frame conditions in Morocco.
This lecture as well as the lecture "Introduction to desert Ecology" (300148) are a duty for the participation in the excursion 2008.
