Aims, contents and method of the course

This 8-day field course gives an introduction in alpine natural history and field work. The focuse is on distribution and abundance of animals in the alpine habitats and their adaptations to high mountain conditions. The students are trained in specific alpine taxa or questions and carry out own projects.
