The course takes place at the Marine Biological Station of Rovinj, Croatia from 15 to 26 September 2025.
Introductory information and a preliminary discussion will be held in the Seminar Room 3.1. (Djerassiplatz 1, 1030 Vienna) 4 March, 13:00 - 14:30.

Passed with more than 60% positive overall performance with a total of 100 points.

The overall goal is to obtain fundamental knowledge on how to accomplish a project, starting from planning the project, measurements in the field, data analyses up to the writing phase.
It is thus imperative that some basic knowledge on the marine environment is available.
Suggested lectures and practica are: Meereskunde, Microbial Oceanography, Biological Oceanography, Introduction to the fauna and flora of marine habitats.
