Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The excursion, which will be held in Slovenia, will provide an overview of flora and vegetation of the mainly submediterranean northwestern Dinaric region and its biogeographic connections, e.g., to the Pannonian region or the Balkan. Recommended for advanced students only.
Assessment and permitted materials
50% active participation
25% first interim test (knowledge of most relevant plant species)
25% second interim test (knowledge of most relevant plant species)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students are acqainted with flora and vegetation of a specific area (this year Slovenia). As such, they can name and recognise the most important plant species as well as their biogeographic connections to other regions.
Examination topics
Field course with predominant demsonstration character; autonomous processing of plant material by the students using relevant literature
