Details are developed in collaboration with the students. The main focus is on the human face and body, human behavior, and their perception. The topic this term is scientific digital photography of human faces including image editing and the assessment of shape. Students are encouraged to apply modern techniques in data collection and advanced statistical tests in the analysis. The main aim of this course is to familiarize students with up-to-date technology and knowledge.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation, homework, little written tests, final presentation including slides
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
A minimum of 50 points is required for the successful completion of the course. The single components are weighted as follows: regular attendance and active participation (20 points), homework (e.g., data collection, 30 points), written tests (20 points), laboratory notebook (10 points), oral presentation including slides (20 points).
