Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Structure and function of the plant cell. Structure and function of procaryotes and eucaryotic plant cells are correlated: membranes, nucleus, cytoskeleton, organelles, the vacuole and the cell wall. This is the basis for the understanding of plants/cells as an osmotic system, for mitosis and meiosis, for cell and organ differentiation, applied cell biology and ecological behaviour of plants. The main techniques of cell biology are discussed.
