Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Generally, students are interested and inspired by research in the field of comparative anthropology. Most of the listeners are fascinated by the comparison between humans and non-human primates. Very often it is a stunning amazement how homologous species behave, their neurobiology functions based on genetics, feelings are expressed, or social styles are shared in the ordo of primates.
The Goal
This lecture presents recent results in primatology focusing on behavior, physiology, and genetics by focusing on statistical methods.

Assessment and permitted materials

Interaction between the students and teacher. Each lecure is based on a scientific paper. Studendts have to read these publications.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Attendance 60% of lectures
