Die Teilnahme (Vertretung möglich) an der Vorbesprechung ist verpflichtend, andernfalls erfolgt eine Abmeldung von der Lehrveranstaltung.Teil Säuger: nach Übereinkunft im Juni 2019 in den Blumengärten Hirschstetten, 3 Termine (9 Uhr bis ca. 12 Uhr) müssen absolviert werden. Aims, contents and method of the course
Methods in field research will be introduced and trained. One part of the course will focus on bird research the other one on small mammals. Methods included are: capture-mark-recapture including bird-ringing, determination of physiological and morphological parameters, sexing, telemetry, home-range analyses, methods in behavioural recording, habitat mapping, data analyses.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation in the field and written reports for both parts of the course.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participation and preparation of two reports.
