Aims, contents and method of the course
In this lecture course the important methods in palaeobotany are demonstrated and applied: Different sampling techniques for palynomorphs, diasporas, wood and leaves, different chemical and physical preparation techniques (HCI and HF digestion, acetolyses, Schultz¿sche agent, washing, sieving, picking), pollen analysis, cuticle analyses, stellar analysis and statistical methods and diagram presentation.
