Vorbesprechung am 1.10.2015, 12:00 Uhr im HS2, UZA I. Anwesenheit in der Vorbesprechung ist zur Kurseinteilung und Platzvergabe erforderlich!
Die LV findet an 5 hintereinanderfolgenden Tagen geblockt statt; es gibt 2 Parallel-Kurse.
Kurs 1: 16.-20.10.2015, Kurs 2: 22.-26.2.2016, jeweils ganztags.
Ca. eine Woche nach Ende das jeweiligen Kurses gibt es eine schriftliche Abschlussprüfung und Referate in Kleingruppen; Dauer ca. 4 Stunden, n.Ü.

- fluorescence microscopy and modern laser scanning microscopy

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Light microscopical techniques are standards for biological questions; therefore, the knowledge of these methods is essential in biology. This course is dealing with the methods that are linked to the light microscope.

Examination topics

Light microsc.: bright field, dark field, phase- and interference contrast, polarization

Fluorescence micr.: conventioanal and confocal laser scanning microsc.

(Video- and UV microscopy)
