Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this course, students will conduct small research individual projects under the guidance of one of the involved supervisors and embedded in the various contributing research groups. Students are advised to inform themselves about possible project themes and potential supervisors at http://ter.csb.univie.ac.at/mec-8 before the preparatory meeting.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation during the project work (70%) and final written report (30%)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Conduct (under guidance of experienced scientists) a small research project, from literature survey and formulation of working hypotheses and research questions, through the gathering and analysis of the required data, to the writing of a final report.
