Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Students learn how to design and perform research in limnology. They will formulate hypotheses and tests to address research questions that are pertinent to current research topics in ecology and biogeochemistry of freshwater ecosystems. Based on this, they will design experiments and fieldwork, including sampling design and sample analysis, and data analysis. They will acquire presentation and rhetorical skills necessary to defend their research project. The acquired knowledge will form the basis for the practical work of their research project in the summer semester.
