Assessment and permitted materials
Assessment of performance is based equally on active participation, oral presentation, written final exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students are familiar with the visited habitats and are able to recognize and identify the most important organisms. They are familiar with principal functional and ecological interactions.
Active participation, oral presentation, and final exam earn a maximum of 20 points each. 35 points are required for a positive grade.

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the most common and characteristic marine organisms of the various habitats, their ecological significance and their morphological features.
