SE each Thursday from 9-12 in the SR of the Technau group, UZA1, ALthanstrasse 14, 1090 Wien, but provisional to circumstances, will be held online.
Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar is aimed at Master and PhD thesis candidates in the division Molecular Evolution and developmental biology (Prof. Technau). The seminar runs throughout the semester and consists of oral progress reports given by the students and other members of the lab.
Assessment and permitted materials
The contribution in the discussion (25%) during the whole semester and the oral presentation (75%) will be the basis of the final grade.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The student must attend 80% of all seminar dates and give at least one progress report presentation.
Examination topics
The oral presentation should be prepared in English and should have a length of 20-30 min.
Reading list
It is expected that the student is continuously reading the relevant literature for his/her research topic.
