Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Depending on the research topic, a written report may be required by your supervisor. In addition, all students will need to present their work in a final joint seminar at the end of the teaching period (Jan 2022)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active participation during the project work (70%) and final written report and oral presentation (30%)
Examination topics
Scientific lab work under direct supervision of faculty staff.

Each participant will choose one topic (viz. a small scientific project) that they will then work on under the supervision of the contributing faculty staff in the respective working groups and labs. Please contact the supervisors of the research project you would like to carry out before the preparatory meeting (for details on available projects see http://ter.csb.univie.ac.at/mec-4 ) .
The course will be held, wherever possible, in physical presence, but is subject to change to a hybrid or online form in case COVID regulations will require it.
