Aims, contents and method of the course

The student gains qualified knowledge in the field of phytochemical analysis, which enables her/him to independently address key questions of chemodiversity research relation to structure, function, chemosystematics, and practical application. She/he ist able to present her/his results in the frame work of a bachelor thesis.

Assessment and permitted materials

Protocol/Bachelor Thesis:60%
(Oral) Presentation of results: 40%
Minimum requirement for positive credit: compliance of Standards for protocol and presentation as given during the course

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Based upon learned methods, a scientifically oriented paper (Bachelor Thesis or protocol in case of project practical) should be writen, and the results should be presented orally

Methods of phytochemical Analysis and correct interpretation of scientific data
