Aims, contents and method of the course
Methods of conservation and renovation of buried human skeletal remains of prehistoric time, documentation and description of the preservation status, age of death and sex determination by the use of different reference populations, demonstration of different macroscopic as well as histological methods, differential diagnosis of post mortem alterations and intra vital alterations, description and discussion of pathological findings (including infectious diseases, malnutrition, trauma, and others); discussion of the possibilities and limits in using skeletal remains for investigations and reconstructions of living conditions and other parameters of early populations.
