Organisational meeting: Tuesday 6 Oct., 11.30-12.30, You may attend ONLINE (via Moodle), or IN PERSON in the Imaging Lab, UZA 1, Biozentrum Althanstraße 14, 1090 Vienna, Dept. of Evolutionary Biology, Theoretical Biology Unit, 2. Ebene, 3. Spange (those on the waiting list should attend also). There is no disadvantage to attending online.
Further meetings will be ONLINE.
The project work can be conducted on the student's own schedule (department computers will be available).

Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Based on participation (30%), project content and presentation (30%), and final report (40%).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will carry out a small research project and present their results, while learning techniques and applications of 3D microscopic imaging.
Examination topics
In-class discussions, independent reading, and small-group work with instructors.
Reading list
Literature specific to each project will be chosen by the instructors and students during development of the projects.
