300428 VO+UE Chironomidae identification course (2007S)

The course provides information on the identification of Central European Chironomidae. Introductory lectures deal with morphology, biology, ecology, sampling, conservation as well as rearing and preparation techniques. The most important literature on the subject is presented and the students have ample opportunity in training their preparation and identification skills. Evaluation: one hour practical exam.
