Aims, contents and method of the course

Parasitology as an applied science related to human and veterinary medicine. The little progress in parasitology between 1200 and 1650 Francesco Redi and scientific parasitology, with the perfection of the first microscopes, parasitology entered a new aera, helminthological, entomological and protozoological discoveries, the beginning of the life cycle studies, knowledge of the pathologic effects of various parasites. The role of vectors in the transmission of parasites "landmarks" in parasitology.
