The seminar will be held online. The course topics will be visible on moodle from 19 September on. Please, choose a topic and send a mail with your choice to the address indicated on the moodle page (first come, first serve).
Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The participants discuss problems of biodiversity and ecosystems research, based on contemporary papers.
Assessment and permitted materials
Attendance control, handout, presentation of the chosen topic.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Following the ductus of the chosen manuscripts, students deal with the methodological aspects of the paper, explain field and laboratory techniques and interprete the data and hypothesis testing. Furthermore, the participants practice the handling of "scientific English" and train presentation and discussion skills.
Examination topics
Guided preparation, presentations in the framework of video conferences, discussion.

Will be provided at the start of the seminar.
