Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course gives 1) an introduction into different surface scanning methods, with an emphasis on optotopometric surface scanning. Practical work is done using the Breuckmann OptoTop HE scanner of the department. Besides the scanning itself, the postprocessing and analyses of the data in RapidForm is also presented. 2) Besides, a short interactive training course is designed to teach the fundamentals of behavioral observation. For the analysis on the films we use The Observer® software, a professional system for collection, analysis, presentation and management of observational data, designed for data entry by a human observer, 'live' or from video, using a desktop. The designs configured specifically to the material on the films are studied and individual designs produced and used.
