Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

During the course the students will be familiarized with humoral and
cellular immune responses that are induced in the human host by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and fungi. Based on this knowledge we will discuss the basics of vaccinology, how vaccines work and how to design and develop novel strategies to fight infectious disease.
