Aims, contents and method of the course
Epigenetics deals with heritable changes of gene activity in eucaryotes that are not encoded in DNA sequences but are determined by chromatin composition and structure, RNA stability and processing and nuclear architecture. We will discuss recent publications in the field and try to link the knowledge from different model organisms.
