Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The goal of the course is to understand the physiological systems associated with metabolism, respiration and homeostasis in animals and to underline their mutual interactions and their adaptations to different environments.

Assessment and permitted materials

Multiple choice tests: 30 questions to answer in 60 min. No books/notes allowed.
NB: We are planning to do the tests in presence at the end of the Winter Semester 2020 and in the SS 2021. If this is not possible, we will offer alternative online exams.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Each question answered correctly yields 1 point. The exam is passed with at least 15 points. Notes: 50-62%, 4; 63-74%, 3; 75-86%, 2; more than 87%, 1.

Examination topics

The exam will concern the material presented and discussed during the lectures and supported by one of the suggested textbooks. Note that the slides provided as course material are not sufficient to prepare the exam.
