Aims, contents and method of the course

Part Mauerhofer:
Basics of the implementation/enforcement of nature conservation law through administration and jurisdiction
Examples of implementation/enforcement in close connection with the relevant law

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam on the content of the PowerPoint Slides and handout, four dates, 100 points possible, beginning with 50 points obtained a positive mark will be given

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Part Mauerhofer:
To provide a solid understanding for
- general structures of law implementation/enforcement and in particular of nature conservation law
- interrelations between international, European, national and local legal implementation/enforcement levels
- inter- and transdisciplinary connections of law implementation/enforcement with other knowledge disciplines
To transfer the interest and joy in legal implementation/enforcement issues
