Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Training is given in the understanding of the potential significance of palynological evidence and the processing techniques involved. The student should try to determine which vegetation type a blind sample comes from by setting up a simulated crime scene. At the end of the course the students will be able to visit a crime scene, assess it for palynological (trace evidence) sampling, collect the samples, analyse and interpret the samples and provide evidence useful for law enforcement agencies.
