One focus will be how light influences growth and hormone regulation. A second focus covers fields of rhythm biology in animal systems, specifically the influence of light on these rhythms and possible novel photoreceptors. By constructively discussing up-to-date literature, the students will obtain an overview about modern concepts and approaches in these timely research areas.
