Aims, contents and method of the course
The course will provide the necessary common knowledge and ensure a balanced level of know-how for all students. The lecturers will deliver theoretical background and the practical application of advanced techniques covering the expertise within the DK SMICH. Additionally the lecture series includes a session on Ethics and Good Scientific Practice.
Assessment and permitted materials
The students will summarize the topics and discuss possible applications to their own research project within a group of at least three followed by short chalk talks and discussion. The evaluation by the lecturer constitutes proof of attendance.
