Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The evaluation consists of different performances:
Generation and presentation of a seminar presentation (usually 20-25 minutes, with additional 5-10 minutes of questions) that highlights the most relevant aspects of the selected publication and discusses this critically
Active participation in the scientific discussion of all presented seminar presentations.
The participants are also encouraged to join the PIs in providing constructive feedback on the presentations of each participant

Stem cell biology is a rapidly evolving scientific area that has relevance for a broad spectrum of disciplines, ranging from evolution and developmental biology to regeneration, regenerative therapies, and artificial organoids.Aims: The overall aim of the seminar is to guide the participants towards the ability to dissect a specific research publication, identify its most important question and approaches, and discuss the results critically in the framework of the existing knowledge.Methods: Each participant presents one seminar presentation on a publication and engages in scientific discussions of their own presentation and others.The language of this course is English.
