Aims, contents and method of the course
Virology has been very present in recent years due to SARS-CoV-2. But there are many other viruses that affect humans, animals and plants, for example Monkeypox virus, Ebola virus, poliovirus, African Swine Fever virus, tomato brown rugose fruit virus. How can these viruses be controlled? What damage do they cause? These viruses as well as many others are discussed; with the help of these viruses the basic principles of virology are explained and illustrated.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
You have to answer 6 questions. A maximum of 10 points is possible for each question, i.e. 60 in total. To pass, you need 30 points (50%) or more.
