Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture series Biophysical Methods for Biological Macromolecules will cover light scattering and diffraction methods for characterization of biomolecules:

- Dynamic light scattering (DLS)
- Static light scattering coupled to size exclusion chromatography (SEC/MALS)
- Differential scanning fluorimetry (Thermofluor) (DSF)
- Macromolecular crystallography (MX)
- Small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS)
