Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar series is meant for students and should address all issues of the postgenomic research using yeast as a model organism. Together, we will aim to share our understanding of the dynamic of cellular systems, whole cells and ultimately organisms. Technically, topics are freely chosen by the speakers although students involved in lab work should rather present their own research project and data. Students not yet involved in experimental work will have the possibility to present a recent publication. Each presentation should last no longer than 20 min. In order to get a certificate participating students will have to present at least once in the semester of their choice. However, it should be clear that this seminar series cannot provide more than for 1h credit.
