Aims, contents and method of the course

Fundamentals of plant morphology (plant body and its organs, flower, fruit, and seed, with emphasis on functional aspects), and of plant anatomy (characters of the cell, tissues, plant organs in different stages of development); characterization of pharmaceutically relevant families and species; fundamentals of microscopic techniques and sample preparation.

Assessment and permitted materials

LV-Prüfung; zusätztlich Online Selbsttests, die je nach technischen Möglichkeiten in die Bewertung einfließen können

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Grundkenntnisse in Morphologie, Anatomie und Systematik der höheren Pflanzen. Kenntnis wichtiger einheimischer Arznei- und Giftpflanzen.
