Aims, contents and method of the course

The following topics are discussed:
o Neonatal drug therapy
o Drug therapy and changes of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for
elderly patients
o Criteria of application of new drugs
o Geriatrics

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course will give an overview over the pharmacotherapy of children and older patients with focus on the changed pharmacokinetics and
pharmacodynamics. Pharmacotherapy, delivery and consultation in pharmacy are discussed.
