Aims, contents and method of the course

In this lecture terms like phytopharmaceuticals (rational and traditional, national phytopharmaceuticals), phytotherapy and delimitation from nutraceuticals, food supplements and dietary products are explained. Standardisation of phytopharmaceuticals (quality control from medicinal plants to herbal medicinal products), possibilities and limitations of phytotherapy, legal basics and practical examples for indications are explained.
