Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

- principles of clinical-pharmaceutical care of patients during the time in the clinic as well as after discharge.
- Case Studies on the causes, symptoms, classification, diagnosis, diagnostic methods and treatment of various diseases, taking into account the laboratory parameters, as well as the clinical picture.
- Individual dosage of drugs, taking into account the pharmacokinetics, multimorbidity and pharmaco-economic aspects.

Assessment and permitted materials

compulsary presence; active participation in the case studies; final examination

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

students will be able:
- to create a drug history
- to describe the clinical status of a patient based on their Expertise
- to take over responsibility in terms of pharmacotherapy and dosage
- to identify reasons for non-compliance
- to create a personalized medication plan by the known parameters of the Patient
- to summarize the clinical data and to present the from the clinical Point of view

Examination topics

real case studies will be presented in small groups and subsenquently to solve them from clinical Point of view (high interaction potential)
