Aims, contents and method of the course
In this course you will be introduced to three important topics covering the design of new medications for inhalation: 1) The biopharmaceutics of drug delivery to the lung, 2) considerations for designing a new oral inhaled drug product, and 3) testing aerosol performance of an inhaled product. The activities and schedule are described below. Following this, each section provides additional information on the activities we will perform together, as well as the contributions of each activity to the overall marks.

A written report (5 to 6 pages) of practical results should be prepared following the document "Guide to Scientific Writing" - 50% of the final mark
