Die VO besteht aus vier Vortragseinheiten, die zeitunabhängig online zur Verfügung stehen werden. Es handelt sich um Unterlagen zur Vorbereitung (VO 1-2) bzw. Vorträge + Unterlagen zur Vorbereitung (VO 3-4). Zu den genannten Live-Terminen werden Fallbeispiele und aktuelle Fragestellungen besprochen (Diskussionsrunde, online via moodle).

Aims, contents and method of the course

Aim: To obtain basic knowledge on the scientific approach and scientific writing, as preparation e.g. for a Master thesis.
Content: design of experiments, writing an SOP, evaluating and presenting data, simple statistics, scientific writing

Assessment and permitted materials

written exam, multiple choice (20 minutes)
