Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction into the topics: drugs in CNS, Biologicals, drugs against cardiovascular disease, antibiotics, medicinal chemistry of antivirals
After an introduction, students will prepare and present selected papers within these topics. Alternatively, and upon mutual agreement, presentations can be replaced by writing an essay on prescribed topic.

Assessment and permitted materials

be present, make presentation/write an essay, actively participate in discussions
written exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

next to the written exam, the presentation, contribution to discussions and the participation will be evaluated

Examination topics

Biologicals, Antibiotics, Cardiovascular drugs, CNS drugs, Med. Chem. of antiviral drugs
