Aims, contents and method of the course

Basic principles of physics especially weighted for students of Nutritional Sciences. Matter und forces, Thermodynamics, balance of energy and nutrition (physiological basics), radioactivity and its impact on humans.

Selected journal articles and book chapters. These are itemized in a Reading List to be handed out at registration on the first day of class.
