Aims, contents and method of the course

Experience in planning, design and implementation of relevant classes are a prerequisite for this seminar!

aims
The students apply theoretical planning skills and practical implementation of relevant contents in specific teaching situations at the Secondary School of the PH Vienna.

The students develop, test and reflect on their own teaching activities and reflect on those of their colleagues.

content
Application of the didactics of nutrition and consumption or consumer education in teaching;
Application of relevant methods in the classroom with given topics or /and skills;
Observation and reflection on teaching in "Nutrition and Home Economics" at the Secondary School PH Vienna;
Team-teaching training exercises in the school subject "Nutrition and Home Economics" at the Secondary School PH Vienna;

Assessment and permitted materials

Full attendance is a prerequisite for the assessment.

Hospitation protocol (individually) (15%)
Written lesson planning of specific topic (maybe in teams) (25%);
Training teaching Lesson (100 minutes) at the Seondary School PMS (25%);
Written reflection on the teaching (individually) (15%);
Observation record of lessons (depending on group size) (5%)
Written case study for action-oriented learning (15%)

Submission of all performance records on time to Moodle

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Genügend: 60- 65 %
Befriedigend: 66 – 80 %
Gut: 81 – 90 %
Sehr Gut: 91-100 %
