Aims, contents and method of the course

Monitoring and actions in the field of public health nutrition with focus on health policies in the EU: Overweight and obesity, social inequalities, food based dietary guidelines, food labeling, food fortification, action plans, WHO millennium development goals, health impact assessment, physical activity monitoring, cancer prevention, tobacco consume prevention, structures and funds of the European Commission.

Evaluation of the presentation, discussion, and term paper

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To improve skills in the field of scientific working; to prepare autonomously a topic related to the corresponding lectures
