Aims, contents and method of the course
The following statistical topics/methods are covered and illustrated by examples: Analysis of variance, regression models and non-parametric tests. Further topics are sample size caclulation and multiple testing adjustments. The use of statistical software (R) is also demonstrated.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written exam with questions asking for numeric calculations and theoretical questions. A collection of required formulas and a calculator may be used during the exam.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The maximal number of points is 24, for a positive grade at least 12 points need to be achieved.
